IX Shells

Itzel Yard, also known as IX Shells, is a new media artist based in Panama specializing in generative art. She began working with code from her passion for video games and music at an early age. Yard studied Architectural Technology and Computer Science at the University of London. She has been featured in iconic exhibitions worldwide including In Our Code, Digital Diaspora, Natively Digital, The Digital, and Proof of Art. Yard became the highest-selling female generative artist when her piece Dreaming at Dusk sold for over 2 million dollars in support of the Tor Project. Shortly after, Yard was featured in Fortune’s “NFTy 50” list alongside other influential names such as Beeple, Jay-Z, Cryptopunks, Mark Cuban, and Snowfro. Yard founded Creative Code Art, a community-renowned educational group that highlights algorithmic and generative art.
