Biography
Frederik Vanhoutte is an artist and medical radiation physicist based in Bruges, Belgium. While pursuing a PhD in physics, Vanhoutte discovered coding as a way to generate visual outputs. Since 2004, he has shared his work online under the pseudonym Wintermute, which he later shortened to wblut. Vanhoutte states, "Code gives me a way to play, to explore the odd behavior of our world, to find the systems beneath it all."
