Pulse Topology
A 2022 work by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer. Mentioned in 1 Timeline moment.
Pulse Topology is a 2022 installation by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer in which thousands of suspended dimmable bulbs pulse at visitors' heart rates, shown in Common Measures at Pace Gallery, New York.
An installation view of the exhibition, not a single work in isolation: Lozano-Hemmer's Pulse Topology filling a blacked-out gallery with thousands of suspended dimmable bulbs pulsing at visitors' heart rates, their light pooling on the polished floor.
